William Payne’s ink and watercolour ‘View on the Coast near Mt Edgecumbe’ is among the pieces on offer at Abbot and Holder’s 10-day sale. Originally priced at £2250, it is now offered for £1900.
All the works at the exhibition, which runs from March 7-17 (except Sunday), are discounted. All of the 1000 on the gallery’s website, released earlier this week, are marked down 15%. However, more pictures are available at the gallery itself where reductions are in many cases larger still.
The sale is in keeping with gallery’s commitment to offer interesting pictures at affordable prices, established when it was founded in 1936.
Here is a look at 10 of the pictures on offer at the gallery now.
