New for this edition is a London Art Week symposium taking place on December 2. It is posed as a ‘platform for debate’ and a chance to ‘explore some of the ethical issues in the art world’. Full details will follow in September.

Galleries and auction houses across Mayfair and St James’s will take part in the event which runs from December 1-6.

Among the dealers already signed up are Bagshawe Fine Art, Colnaghi, Ben Elwes Fine Art, Sam Fogg, Lowell Libson and Jonny Yarker, Lullo·Pampoulides, John Mitchell Fine Paintings, Stephen Ongpin Fine Art, Guy Peppiatt Fine Art, Tomasso Brothers Fine Art, Trinity Fine Art and Galleria Carlo Virgilio.

It also includes One Hundred Drawings and Watercolours – the 12th annual collaborative exhibition of Ongpin and Peppiatt. The exhibition includes 50 drawings from each dealer, with drawings spanning five centuries and all priced between £500-£12,000.
