2) Star Wars action figure prototype comes to auction

A small piece of Star Wars action figure history comes for sale at Vectis Auctions in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees next month.

The ‘prototype resin master tooling aids’ for two characters from The Return of the Jedi toy line – Bib Fortuna and the Emperor’s Royal Guard - pictured alongside production figures for comparison. Vectis expects them to bring £6000-12,000 each on April 30.
