Asian Art in London

Asian Art in London is an event that focuses on art and historic objects from across Asia. It takes place every autumn in the UK capital.

It started in 1998 and now hosts an array of dealer shows, auctions, receptions and seminars. Among the categories of works offered are Indian & Islamic Art as well as works of art from China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.

Triple A add to the feast of Asian art

The Association of Accredited Auctioneers (Triple A) are hosting a viewing event timed to coincide with Asian Art in London. This Qianlong ‘lotus and bats’ doucai jar and cover, estimated to bring £100,000-150,000 at Peter Wilson of Nantwich on November 27, is among the lots on view at Rountree Tryon Galleries of 7 Bury Street on November 2 from 12 noon-9pm.

Thangka leads Dreweatts' Asian art sale at £450,000

Dreweatts achieved their highest price to date in the Asian art market when an 18th century Sino-Tibetan thangka depicting the Milarepa cult sold for £450,000 at the firm’s first sale marking their participation in the Asian Art in London initiative.
