Gwen John in a new light at Cork Street show
14 June 2021She was among the first female students to study at the Slade and exhibited with major galleries, but for many years Gwen John (1876- 1939) was forgotten, overshadowed by her famous lover Auguste Rodin and flamboyant artist brother Augustus John.
