“The town has a real buzz about it on brocante Saturdays,” says Kate. “We have on average 40 brocanteurs selling vintage gardening tools, jewellery, ceramics and glassware, vintage clothes, 1950s-60s homewares, wall art and small pieces of antique furniture. It’s a very popular market, including to the trade.”

The next Halesworth brocante, organised as an initiative with the Halesworth and Blyth Valley Partnership to promote trade in the town, is on Saturday, May 6. A 100-stall antiques street market also takes place in the town on Monday, August 28, the summer bank holiday.
