A provisional date for June had been discussed but, following a members meeting last week, the event has been postponed until September.
The members of the Church Street Decorative Arts Dealers’ Group, including those in Alfies Antiques Market, are planning the event to promote the area as a hub for the sale of art, antiques, vintage and design-related goods.
The initiative, which will see the street go traffic-free, is now being planned to coincide with the London Design Festival which takes place from September 16-24.
