Sorry to burst your bubble but I find it the most irritating show on TV and somewhat of a joke, as it does little for the industry’s credibility.
Under practically every overpainted canvas lies an Old Master or an impressionist work of art if presenters Philip Mould and Fiona Bruce are involved.
During a recently repeated episode, Mould and Bruce even overturned the artist Lucian Freud’s own opinion that a painting was not his work because he had painted parts but not all of it.
