Will Farmer of Fieldings and the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow is backing a campaign to keep Poole Pottery in the town.
Over the years we have lost so much in so many places and these last few bastions of a once great industry must be preserved.
I appreciate that commerce is an unsentimental master, but at what cost? With some careful thought and creative ingenuity there must be a solution to be found.
Poole has a long-standing tradition that needs upholding and I sincerely hope that we can find a building, located in the heart of the town, that will keep this vibrant pottery alive in the place where it all began.
