The 70-plus lots included this Buccellati ‘dome’ ring purchased at Christie’s Geneva in November 2000 for a premium-inclusive $75,064.

According to a GIA report, the central stone is an emerald-cut diamond weighing 8.50cts, colour grade J, clarity grade VS2. The estimate set at £40,000-60,000, it sold at £84,000.
