Molly & Maud’s Place, run by mother and daughter Karen and Chloe Rhymer, specialises in rare decorative antiques which have been collected on the dealers’ travels.
At Blanchard Molly & Maud’s Place will showcase pieces such as this 19th century German carousel horse made by Friedrich Heyn, left. The c.1890 horse sits on a bespoke metal base and is available for £7950.
Joseph Berry, a member of the Antiques Young Guns, runs Joseph Berry Interiors, specialising in ‘irreverent’ interiors. He sells pieces such as this late 20th century optician’s trade sign, above right, thought to be from France, which is priced at £895.
The collective, now in its ninth year, has purpose-built premises outside the antiques ‘hub’ of Hungerford in Berkshire (also see Fairs & Markets, p52-53). It mixes traditional antiques with modern decorative items and sells to trade buyers and interior designers. It represents more than 15 dealers.
