Nearly 60 stallholders will offer vintage fashion, textiles and accessories. New exhibitors to this well-loved staple on the vintage scene will be mostly fashion dealers, including East Sussex costume designer Shuna Harwood.

She was nominated by the 1996 Academy Awards for her costume work in the 1995 film Richard III – for which she also won a BAFTA award. Starring Ian McKellen and Maggie Smith, the play is set in 1930s Britain with the king spoiling for a fascist dictatorship.

Talking about his new stallholders, Adams said: “Jane Reed specialises in 1970s fashion designers including Biba and Ossie Clark, while Retrouvé Vintage will be bringing stock from its shop in Hackney.

“Vintage Chanel accessories are making a stylish appearance from the online vintage boutique, House of Pre-Loved.”

Frock Me! has been running at Chelsea Town Hall in London for more than a decade and now has five dates in its annual calendar.

First established by Adams at Kensington Town Hall in the 1990s, this fair remains as much a magnet to serious wearers of vintage as it is to buyers for the costume departments of film and television companies.
