A Swallow spokesperson said: “It was a very popular market and people loved it. There is a lot more of a trend now towards vintage and flea markets, for which we have seen a demand in the area, so we thought we would adapt to that. We will have plenty of core exhibitors from our Donington Antiques Market and new dealers too.”
The rise in popularity – particularly with younger buyers – of an event promoted using the words vintage or fleamarket, or both, is a strong selling factor in the marketplace.
