During the Olympia fair in June, I carried out my own survey of fellow exhibitors who were members of both LAPADA and BADA [regarding a merger of the two trade bodies].
My survey was by no means comprehensive but your readers may be interested to know that of the members I questioned, 23 were in favour of a merger, with only one being against.
Could I again, through your letters page, invite both organisations to reveal their attitude, either in favour or against such a merger.
In my opinion, they should survey their own exhibiting members and then act according to those wishes. There is currently just too much duplication of effort and expense.
