Marks of Passage was the third exhibition of Joyce’s work the Hampshire-based dealer has staged at this rented London space. Sales started well before the show opened and most of the works had been snapped up by the time the exhibition closed.
Among the pieces that sold was Lost Pond, a 2016 acrylic on canvas laid to wood panel. The piece measures 3ft (91cm) square and was ticketed at £9500. It is now one of a selection of pieces that has gone to Burlingham’s gallery in Kingsclere where they will remain on display until May 20.
