This bronze ram by the late animalier sculptor Sally Arnup (1930-2015) will feature in a section of Northern art at Yorkshire auction house Tennants of Leyburn on November 18.

The 12 x 14in (30 x 35cm) high piece depicts a champion Swaledale ram called Morris and is typical of the sculptor’s life-like work. It is being offered with an estimate of £2000-3000.

Potteries Auctions of Staffordshire will offer this pair of Minton Pâte-sur-Pâte vases in its two-day sale on November 11-12.

The 8in (19.5cm) high blue-ground pair dates from the late 19th or early 20th century, and was decorated by Alboin Birks (1862-1941).

Venus teaching Cupid to shoot a bow and arrow is depicted on one vase, while the other shows a winged angel, possibly Minerva, also teaching Cupid to shoot. Estimate £2500-5000.

This CIJ clockwork Alfa Romeo P2 racing car will be offered by Martin & Pole in Wokingham, Berkshire, on November 22.

The French-made model had belonged to the vendor’s father, who was presented with the toy in 1930, when he was 14.

The paintwork is finished in yellow, the racing colour for Belgium. It is estimated at £2000-3000, and comes with its original key and a box that still contains the original straw packing.

This early Louis Vuitton trunk carries hopes of £3000-4000 in John Nicholson’s November 9 sale in Haslemere, Surrey.

Made in Paris, the vintage 2ft 10in (86cm) long trunk is numbered 207991.
