Pins au Pyla by Albert Marquet is estimated at €20,000-30,000 in the Briscadieu April 28 auction in Bordeaux.
Pictured here is a work by one of the major names featured in the sale: Albert Marquet (1875-1947). His 15 x 22in (38 x 55cm) oil on canvas, Pins au Pyla, with a stamp and signature lower right, has a provenance to the artist’s wife Marcelle, the London dealer Connaught Brown and a private collection.
It is estimated at €20,000-30,000.
