Masters of British Studio Pottery showcases masterpieces and rare works by ceramicists such as Bernard Leach, Lucie Rie, Hans Coper and Gwyn Hanssen Pigott.

“British studio ceramics have been enjoying something of a moment, celebrated in a slew of recent exhibition and major publications,” says Annie Warburton, creative director of the UK Crafts Council.

Running from February 22-25, this is the 14th edition of the fair which the council organises annually at London’s Saatchi Gallery. Forty galleries will stand, representing more than 400 artists and craftspeople.

“The international market for contemporary craft has never been more buoyant,” Warburton adds. “This is reflected in a record number of exhibiting galleries this year, representing leading artists and makers.”

Jewellery, textiles, furniture, metalwork and glass are all on offer. Among them are Vessel Gallery, bringing glass from the UK and Europe, first-time exhibitor Oxford Ceramics Gallery and Galerie Dutko.
