Run since the 1990s by aviation enthusiasts Dave Sutton and Alistair White, the event is run in conjunction with the Croydon Airport Society, a charity which aims to keep the history of the aerodrome alive.

This fair on Sunday, January 7, uses the Grade II-Listed Aerodrome Hotel, built at the same time as the airport and situated on the site of the old airfield.

“The 35 dealers/traders fair will be 70% aviation dealers and 30% military,” said Sutton. “They range from book dealers, including the Aviation Bookshop in Tunbridge Wells, to aviation art and traders in online collectables.”
