The show running until February 10 at the Dundas Street gallery includes etchings, linocuts, woodcuts and engravings. Around 30 works by artists such as John Rankine Barclay, David Sinclair and Henry Rushbury are on offer.
Featured works include Scottish scenes, such as Glencoe (1928), pictured above, by James McIntosh Patrick (1907-98), celebrated for his images of the Angus landscape and Dundee.
This work was produced during financially difficult years for the artist, during which highly finished etchings such as this proved a source of income. Glencoe, 7 x 10in (18 x 25.5cm), is signed and dated 28 in plate, signed and numbered 30/75 in pencil to the margin and is offered for £850.
Other images of Scotland on offer include David Young Cameron’s etchings of Ben Ledi and Ben Lomond, and William Wilson’s scenes of Edinburgh and Scottish fishing villages.
The show coincides with an exhibition of photographs by Italian-Scottish artist Oscar Marzaroli.
