The London Ceramics and Glass Fair (previewed in ATG No 2324), held in conjunction with display company Casemate, ran at Kensington Town Hall on Saturday, January 13.
Two C’s Fairs director Ben Cooper said: “It was a real leap of faith that the 14 dealers came together for the renamed fair.
“At 11am there was a queue of 40 eager buyers, with the first sales taking place at 11.05am. Visitors to the fair kept arriving until 4.30pm, with last-minute sales continuing till 5pm at the close of business.”
Candy Moss of Casemate summed up the feelings of the organising team, saying: “We did it and it worked. Congratulations to us all.”
The next London Ceramics and Glass Fair will take place towards the end of June, and the date will be publicised once booking is confirmed at the venue.
