Onslows of Dorset’s Summer Vintage Poster Auction on July 13 will feature this 3ft 4in x 4ft 2in (1.02 x 1.27m) LNER lithograph poster promoting Whitley Bay on the north-east coast.
Designed by John Littlejohns (1874-1955) and produced in 1930, it is estimated at £1000-1500.
This elaborate 3ft (92cm) high Loxodonta Africana majolica elephant samovar by potter Peter Weldon is thought to be one of only two produced.
The piece is estimated at £600-1000 in a fine art sale on July 4-5 at Peter Wilson in Nantwich, Cheshire.
Produced as part of Weldon’s degree show in 1989, it is marked Tettenhall College. Weldon, a specialist in design and manufacture of period architectural ironwork, went on to replicate the famous Tulipieres (or tulip pagodas) from Chatsworth House, as well as developing Sèvres-style copies with lost-wax bronze mounts and raised paste gilding.

An early vase by Art Nouveau pioneer Émile Gallé will go under the hammer at Moore Allen & Innocent’s selected antiques sale on July 20 in Cirencester.
The signed, 8in (21cm) wide vase, decorated with enamelled crickets, was found during a local house clearance and is guided at £500-800.
A large collection of Modern British art assembled by the late architect Leonard Manasseh will go under the hammer on June 27-28 at Bellmans in Winchester.
The 100-lot group, which is being offered for sale on behalf of the Manasseh family, includes works by Elisabeth Frink, Elizabeth Blackadder and Bernard Dunstan. Manasseh rose to prominence at The Festival of Britain in 1951, where he won the competition for a design of a luxury restaurant.
Pictured above is The Quarry, a 9 x 11½in (23 x 29.5cm) watercolour and pencil by John Nash (1893-1977) dated to c.1928. Estimate £700-1000.
