Borders fleamarket
Billed as the largest antiques fleamarket on the Scottish Borders, the Kelso Antique Fleamarket is run by Blacks Saleroom in Kelso on Saturday and Sunday, March 31-April 1 at the BUAS Showground in the town’s Springwood Park. Contact the saleroom on 07760 660556.
In Northamptonshire, in the village of Lamport, at the Grade II-Listed Lamport Hall, Antiques2Go runs its two-day flagship event. The 100-stall antiques, collectors and vintage fair is held in the hall’s stable block on Sunday and Monday, April 1-2. From books to jewellery and furniture to silver there is likely to be plenty to tempt. And there’s a hog roast, too.
Flintshire fair
In Flintshire, north Wales, LibertyGreen Antiques will host its monthly antiques and collectables fair at the award-winning Beauport Park Hotel in the historic market town of Mold on Sunday, April 1.
Big in Surrey
Big Surrey Fairs is hoping for a bumper turnout to its 90-stand Great Southern Postcard and Paper Fair on Monday, April 2, at the Tolworth Recreation Centre, Kingston Bypass, Fullers Way, Tolworth. Postcards, trade cards, ephemera, currency, books, magazines and photographs are among the offerings.
Sandown launch
A reminder of the launch by Sunbury Antiques’ Edward Cruttenden on Tuesday, April 3, of the monthly Sandown Antiques Market at Sandown Park Racecourse. These will run on the first Tuesday of the month and will be the sister to the very popular fortnightly antiques market at Kempton Park Racecourse.
