Kate Thurlow at Gallery Forty One in Battersea, London, is selling this unusual pair of fruitwood corner bosses with masonic emblems.
The 2ft 4in (72cm) wide pair, possibly Dutch, c.1760, are carved with emblems pertaining to two of the four guiding virtues of Freemasonry: prudence and justice.
The pair is priced at £4850.
This Arts & Crafts silver heart-shaped box with a pair of inset enamel doves is estimated at £3000-5000 in a Decorative Art and Design sale at Bonhams Knightsbridge on April 12.
The 3½in (9cm) wide box, made by Child & Child with London hallmarks, 1899-1900, was exhibited at Wartski’s of Grafton Street in 1989.
The doves are thought to have been enamelled by Madeline Wyndham, the wife of Percy Wyndham (1835- 1911), and were inspired in both shape and decoration by the work of Pre-Raphaelite Edward Burne-Jones, who made frequent trips to the Wyndhams’ famous Arts & Crafts home, ‘Clouds’ in Wiltshire.
This picture of Christ is one of a series known as the Emerald Icons, because they reproduce an impression of Christ’s profile found on a Byzantine emerald, one of several holy objects sent to Pope Innocent VIII in the 1490s by the Ottoman Sultan Bajazet.
The 8½ x 6in (22 x 16cm) oil and gilding on oak board is described as English school (16th-17th century) and is estimated at £3000-5000 in a March 29 sale at Locke & England in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Due to its small size, the icon may have been used in private worship in Britain when Catholics were persecuted by Protestant rulers.

Coins will feature in a mixed-discipline sale at Hampshire saleroom George Kidner in Lymington on April 5.
Among them is this King George VI and Queen Elizabeth official coronation gold medal by English artist sculptor and designer Percy Metcalfe (1895-1970).
The large 2in (5¾cm) wide piece, with the left facing crowned busts of the king and queen to either side, was one of 274 struck by the Royal Mint for the coronation of George VI in 1937. A smaller version also exists, struck in larger quantities.
