This small 5½in (14cm) wide Art Nouveau cameo glass vase enamel, painted with a view of the Alps by Daum Frères, is priced at £7500 from London dealership Hickmet Fine Arts in Portobello Road.
The c.1900 Alpine Vase is among the scarcer pieces by Daum to come on the secondary market. This example is signed Daum Nancy with the Cross of Lorraine.
This suite of jewellery by famous designer John Donald (b.1928) will appear in John Nicholson’s fine antiques auction in Fernhurst on May 17.
The parure, comprising an 18ct gold and diamond necklace, bracelet, earrings and dress ring, is estimated at £5000-8000.
Regarded as a pioneer craftsman who helped revolutionise jewellery design in the 1960s and 70s, Donald designed jewellery for Princess Margaret, the Queen Mother and other royals, and his work can be found in the V&A.
