Best known as a champion of post-war silversmithing and the designer of coins and medals, his output as a jeweller is occasionally forgotten.
The ring (hallmarked for London 1976) and brooch (1975), both in original Devlin boxes, carry an estimate of £1500-2000 at Dreweatts’ Fine Jewellery sale in Newbury on November 28.
