On November 27, as part of its Art Deco auction, the Paris saleroom will be selling its third section from the staircase of the tower, a 13ft (4m) high element of the original spiral staircase linking the second and third floors of the monument.
The staircase was disassembled in 1983, when a lift was installed in the last two floors of the tower, and cut into 24 sections. The estimate is €40,000-60,000.
