On offer from dealership Orson & Welles at Midcentury East on October 14 are film posters including movies released in 1968, such as 2001: A Space Odyssey and Bullitt. This striking later poster comes from the master filmmaker Federico Fellini’s 1980 film La Citta Dell Donne (The City of Women). It is priced at £275.
It involves 60 dealers who specialise in mid-century interiors including furniture, lighting, posters and ceramics, such as Saxon Durrant of Metro Retro.
He recently supplied Pinewood Studios with some of his industrial stock for the Judy Garland biopic Judy, starring Renee Zellweger and due for release next year.
