This oil on canvas titled Les Deux Majestés Jean-Léon Gérôme is estimated at of €200,000-300,000 in the Artcurial auction on November 13.
The vibrantly coloured canvas measuring 10 x 17in (25 x 44cm) was given by the artist to his daughter Suzanne and features the same subject as a larger canvas now in the Milwaukee Art Center. Unpublished and a recent discovery, it has an estimate of €200,000-300,000 in the sale of Old Master and 19th century paintings to be held by Artcurial on November 13
