These three bottles of Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux 2007 above are double magnums – each holding the equivalent of four standard wine bottles.

With enough to fill 60 glasses using this blend of petit verdot, merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes from the 2007 crop, the estimate is £1200-1800 at Tennants’ sale of Fine Wine, Whisky and Cognac in Leyburn on December 14.

An unusually comprehensive Caughley tea service in the Fisherman pattern, c.1790, is expected to bring €1000-1500 in the At Home sale conducted by Adam’s in Dublin on December 15. As well as eight tea bowls and saucer dishes, the pieces include four strainers, a spoon tray and a teapot and a sugar bowl and cover.

Bonhams’ Entertainment Memorabilia sale on December 17 includes a number or original sketches and animation cels from the 1982 short film The Snowman.

A 10½ x 13in (26 x 33cm) gouache on celluloid cel depicting The Snowman in a hat playing at dressing-up with James is estimated at £1000-1500. It is accompanied by a photocopied production background with sequence number annotations to the lower edge.
