If the title has to try and be catchy, ‘Loot for Loot’, would be marginally better. ‘Trash’ implies the show is about junk (schmund or ramsch in German) which it is not.
I have watched the German programme many times, and although its own title suggests it is about rare items, the show is a mixture of general antiques and artworks, some quirky pieces, and yes, the very occasional rarity, certainly not trash.
