An 1979 photograph by German artist Astrid Klein which is among her works on show at The Arts Club in London this summer.
Klein, who is represented by international dealership Sprüth Magers, trained at the International School of Design until 1977 and began working with photography in 1978. Her early creations, such as the one shown above, concern tragic themes and typically combine text and images.
Her works are available for €40,000-200,000.
Amelie von Wedel and Pernilla Holmes from advisory firm Wedel Art curated the show. Set in the drawing room and ante-room of The Arts Club, it runs until September.
