I noticed that the photo appeared to be a promotional publicity still issued by Reprise Records.
Initially Fleetwood Mac were signed to Blue Horizon Records and as Mr Norley correctly points out (Letters, ATG No 2405), the early albums were by ‘Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac’.
However, in 1969 the band were re-signed to Reprise Records. Then Play On released in late 1969 was the only album on Reprise to feature Green alongside Danny Kirwan. Green did not appear on any of the subsequent Reprise releases.
This photograph would seem to post-date that album and quite correctly would not show Green.
