Staged by Belgrave St Ives, the show features 100 works by 50 artists, from Roger Hilton, Peter Lanyon and Ben Nicholson as well as their lesser-known counterparts such as Bob Bourne, John Barnicoat and Inez Hoyton.

Among the highlights are a number of brightly-coloured compositions by Terry Frost, several abstract scenes and a landscape drawing by Wilhelmina Barns- Graham, and a series of etchings by Bryan Ingham.

It is the gallery’s largest exhibition to date.

Since holding its inaugural show in 1999 (St Ives – The Modern Movement), the business has held annual exhibitions of paintings, sculpture and works on paper by artists association with Cornwall.
