The series showcases pictures that have been sourced by the 20th century British art dealership over the past 30 years, but which were previously held back from the website.

Over 10 exhibitions, 150 total works will be offered including those by well-known artists such as Edward Bawden, Gilbert Spencer and Barnett Freedman.

The first season of this series, which launched in the spring, resulted in sales to The Courtauld Gallery, The Stanley Spencer Gallery and The National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo. Each of the upcoming campaigns has its own theme. For example, there are offerings with a 3D focus (starting October 15), Nocturnes (October 22) and A Time & Place (featuring topographical works, November 5).

The majority of the pictures in the upcoming series are fresh to the market and are available at prices ranging from hundreds of pounds to six-figure sums. Works are listed on the dealership’s website and some pieces will go on show later in the year at Persephone Books in London.
