Featured @VisitPortobello were 23 traders with an average of 124 viewers per story, said Holly Garner from Kensington and Chelsea Council, which ran the event.
She added: “We don’t have exact figures on purchases or enquiries from traders yet but there was definitely a lot of interest, which is great for the first event like this.”

Scrolling through the highlights reel, it included pieces across the antiques spectrum: Emma Caderni had an exquisite Yves St Laurent filigree roundel necklace at £275, James Brenerant Antique Silver offered an 1874 solid silver Imperial Russian Niello teaspoon by Fyedor Ivanov of Moscow for £40, Appleby Antiques was selling a Victorian copper bain-marie set at £1950 and Barham Antiques’ Tuscan china trio was priced £45 with a parquetry tray at £95.
Collectors’ Prints was asking £200 for a set of three French 1930s tennis prints, while Go Commando’s King’s Troop red, gold, yellow and black busby was on parade at £250.
