Although there is still strong interest in the business’ stock, dealer Tim Wilson says the new location will make the gallery more accessible as more of its initial enquiries now come from the web rather than from passing traffic.
Wilson adds: “Harringworth Manor gave us the chance to move our stock into a very central part of England and see our customers individually, which for the near future is going to be an important part of complying with all the Covid regulations.”
The dealership, which is a member of BADA, specialises in furniture from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries as well as tapestries, early metalware, paintings and medieval sculpture.
Previously known as Early Oak at Wysdom Hall, it is now Early Oak at Harringworth Manor.
