Produced in the Gobelin and Carpet School in Valašské Mezirrící, it is offered for €45,000 at the Berlin gallery along with the original invoice from October 2, 1931.
Místecký attended the State Technical School of Woodworking before going to study art and architecture in Prague.
After completing his studies, he returned to the woodworking school to teach while implementing his designs for villas and public buildings in his home region.
He is best remembered for his interior decoration, especially his work with furniture, carpets and lamps.
Other works in the show, which ends on October 24, include several pieces by Czech textile artist Antonin Kybal (1901-71), a tapestry by Dutch artist and designer Bart van der Leck (1876–1958) and a felt carpet by Anglo-Irish designer Eileen Gray (1878-1976).
