Florida’s Palm Beach Show hopes to hold an ‘in-person’ fair at the Palm Beach County Convention Center on February 11-16. Now in its 18th year and staged over the Presidents’ Day Weekend, the six-day event begins with a tiered opening night preview party on February 11 and touchless digital ticketing alongside other ‘Covid compliant enhancements’.

As ATG went to press, the fair had not announced its full exhibitor list but confirmed it would be smaller than previous years, with many UK dealerships that usually make the annual winter pilgrimage to Florida unable to attend.

Jewellery along with silver has traditionally been one of the fair’s strengths. Among the pieces going to Florida with Atlanta jeweller JS Fearnley is a pair of vintage Georges Lenfant coral, onyx and diamond earrings, priced at $10,450.

Described as one of the ‘unsung heroes of 20th century French jewellery’, Lenfant established the Georges Lenfant house mark that produced jewels for many of the top Parisian houses of the Place Vendome, including Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier and Mellerio dits Meller.
