'Trois personnages au marais' by Camille Corot – estimate €38,000-40,000 at Besch Cannes Auction from August 13-16.
Included in the sale on the 15th, which offers Impressionist and Modern Art, Old Masters, furniture, ceramics and 20th century decorative art, will be this late oil on canvas by Camille Corot (1796-1875).
Trois personnages au marais, a 10 x 13in (25 x 33cm) work featuring figures in a marshy landscape, is signed lower right and dates from c.1865-70.
Estimate €38,000-40,000.
