A collection of stamps, paintings including a group by Pont-Aven artists and a selection of furniture, works of art and design all feature in the sale to be held by Copages Auctions on May 21 at Drouot in Paris.
The design section of the sale will include this set of table and six chairs by the Danish designer Verner Panton designed in 1971 for Fritz Hansen.
The Pantanova dining set is made from chrome tubular steel and as well as being functional the six dining chairs slot under the 3ft 11in (1.2m) to form a cylindrical entity.
Estimate €10,000-20,000.
