He is one of four directors who launched a new auction house, The Rostrum in Holt, north Norfolk, in the summer and the third auction is imminent.
Nelson-Griffiths said: “We’ve had two sales which were a big success and are approaching our first fine art sale on December 2-3 with 800 lots including Edward Seago paintings, a large collection of ‘Mouseman’ furniture and a massive 53cm-high 1883 silver embossed Scottish flagon.”
