Calèches et cavaliers au bois de Boulogne, an 18in x 2ft 1¾in (46.5 x 65.5cm) work from c.1950 signed lower right, depicts horse-drawn carriages and horse riders in the famous French park and has a provenance to the Galerie Bailly and a private collection. It sold for €53,000 (£45,300).

Dufy’s view of the harbour at Stockholm, a 19½in x 2ft (50 x 61cm) canvas signed lower left, is dated slightly later, c.1953-4, and came from a private collection. It sold for €55,000 (£47,010) at the sale on August 15.
Both works feature in the Dufy catalogue raisonné.
