A selection of decorative late 19th century English and Continental ceramics from the estate of Tracy A Wettlaufer, of Buffalo, New York, includes several pieces of English Victorian majolica ware from Minton and George Jones, mostly taking the form of jardinières or game pie dishes.

Among them is this George Jones example modelled with a crouching fox to the cover and trophies to the sides.

It measures 7¼ x 10½in (18.5 x 26.5cm), is catalogued as being in very good condition and has an estimate of $1000-1500 at the auction in Geneseo, New York.
