As well as a one-piece tank crew oversuit (1945), with a double zipper opening running down from the collar to the leg cuffs to allow the oversuit to be opened completely, the lot included a camouflage smock and trousers, and three unusual ammunition jerkins, one of which is marked as having been used for training purposes.
They were from a private collection of military uniforms that sold strongly as a whole in this March 23 Militaria & Ethnographica auction in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, such as 13 Second World War and post-war khaki drill uniforms which made £1100 (guide £80-120).
