1 How did you get your start?
My dad was an antiques dealer specialising in Worcester porcelain and that is my focus now.
2 What challenges are facing the trade?
Building up people’s confidence with everything being shut down for so long and getting people to come back to the fairs.
3 Have you noticed any recent collecting trends?
Especially selling Royal Worcester, the Chinese and Korean markets are absolutely loving it. I have a lot of business from people in the UK buying for dealers overseas.
4 What is one great discovery you have made?
A couple of years ago I bought an 18th century Worcester mug for £10 which I then sold for £300.
5 What is one thing you couldn’t do without?
Tea (but if you’re asking real ale or espresso martini, mine’s a real ale).
