Among the lots in Vectis’ March 30 Vinyl Record sale is this first pressing of the 1969 self-titled debut album by Led Zeppelin, with turquoise sleeve lettering and a labelling error. It is estimated at £300-600.
The specialist toys and collectables auction house in Stockton-on-Tees has launched departments for vinyl records, comic books and graphic novels and books.
Although it has sold lots in these categories before on a small scale, it now plans dedicated sales in these areas.
The first will be a Vinyl Record auction on March 30.
Vectis held more than 84 toy and collectable auctions in 2022, totalling more than 60,000 lots.
From January it will list its auctions on thesaleroom.com.
The firm is part of the Hambleton Group of companies with an office in Thornaby and a regional office in Witney, Oxfordshire.
