Victorian transformation game – £1500 at Loddon.
It was offered as part a December 7-9 sale held by Loddon (19% buyer’s premium) of Arborfield in Berkshire, a saleroom that specialises in all manner of paper collectables.
Dated to c.1845 by the auction house, it sold at a considerably higher sum than expected. Bidding stopped only at £1500.
