Members of named The Grey Organisation (GO) flung buckets of grey paint over windows of galleries including The Mayor Gallery, Knoedler Gallery and Nicola Jacobs Gallery, protesting about a lack of support for emerging artists.

Now SLAD member The Mayor Gallery is staging a show of GO’s works, including prints created from photographic evidence that recorded the aftermath of the event as well as ephemera from the organisation’s spokesperson Toby Mott. Cork Street Attack runs until February 25.

Photographer Andrew Catlin captured the results of the damage and his images were used by media. The photo above, which depicts the results of the protest on The Mayor Gallery, is among the photographs on offer at the show.

The digital inkjet print, from an edition of 100, is offered for £150.
