The high life of publishing

A counterculture offering at PBA Galleries in Berkely, California on May 19 includes the first nine issues of The Marijuana Review (1968-73), the first periodical in America devoted to cannabis and an influential presence in the underground press movement.

Ed Sanders co-edited the first five issues before leaving the task solely to Mike Aldrich. Estimate $4000-6000.

The Guerrilla Girls poster offered at Swann Galleries.

This copy of the famous Guerrilla Girls poster Do Women Have to be Naked to Get into the Met. Museum? comes for sale at Swann Galleries in New York on June 2 as part of an auction titled Focus in Women.

Signed by three members of the New York artists group with the pseudonyms Aphra Behn, Lorraine Hansberry, and Rosalind Franklin, it is estimated at $800-1200.
